The Central Coast Regional District (CCRD) continues to operate our services in the face of COVID-19. We are adjusting our assessment and response to the global pandemic daily according to health authority guidance and directives from higher levels of government.
We are asking the public to call or email if you are sick and have an inquiry or service request. Please do not visit our office at 626 Cliff Street, Bella Coola if you have a cold, a fever, are fatigued, have body aches, a cough, or shortness of breath.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention advises the following steps to protect from the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19):
- Stay home if you have respiratory symptoms (coughing, sneezing, shortness of breath) and a temperature above 100.4
- Leave work if you develop these symptoms while at the workplace
- Shield coughs and sneezes with a tissue, elbow or shoulder (not bare hands)
- Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and use an alcohol based sanitizer
- Avoid shaking hands and avoid touching your face
- Ensure that surfaces are regularly and thoroughly cleaned
- Practice social distancing
We would like to thank you for helping to keep our community healthy with these steps. The purpose of our request is to protect our staff to ensure we can keep our services going.
If you are unable to come to our office and are in need of CCRD services please phone our office at (250) 799-5291 or email aa@ccrd.ca.
