Become an Alternate Director for Electoral Area A or B
Each regional district electoral area director representing an electoral area must appoint an alternate to carry out their responsibilities in their absence. To be qualified to be an alternate electoral area director, the person must have the qualifications necessary to be nominated as a director for the electoral area.
Interested individuals can submit a written expression of interest by email to the CAO (cao@ccrd.ca), by dropping a written expression of interest off at the Central Coast Regional District main office, or by mail. All submissions must be received before 4pm on March 17, 2023.

All submissions must have the following information included to be deemed valid:
- Full name.
- Phone number and email address.
- Residential address and electoral area of residence
- Which electoral area they seek to hold office for.
- Statement or acknowledgement that they meet the requirements to hold office.
- Optional: Signature of 2 electors residing in the electoral area.
- Optional: Letter of endorsement from the Heiltsuk Tribal Council (Area B)
