Great Bear Playground Survey 

The Central Coast Regional District (CCRD) is currently undertaking an update to the playgrounds at Walker Island Park and Nusatsum Park. In Fall 2023, public engagement was completed and used to identify playground experiences and equipment desired by the community. This feedback was used to inform a public Request for Proposal (RFP) for playground design.

The CCRD is now seeking additional public input to select the preferred design options and feedback on the proposed design concepts.

A competitive RFP process has been completed and a preferred playground design-build proponent (Habitat Systems Inc.) has been identified for this project. This further input from the public is part of the process to effectively engage the playground design-builder.

Adults and children alike are invited to complete this survey together or individually. Your feedback will help to ensure that the playground designs reflect the wants and needs of our community, especially those who use the playgrounds most. The survey will take about 4 minutes to complete. Thank you for your participation.
