NOTICE THAT PUBLIC HEARING IS PROHIBITED
Notice is hereby given that the Central Coast Regional District Board of Directors will consider Bylaw 533, 2024 during the regular Board meeting to be held June 13, 2024 at 9 a.m. in the meeting room above the Shearwater (Fisherman’s) Bar and Grill located at 1 Shearwater Road, Denny Island, BC V0T 1B0.
Zoning Bylaw 533, 2024 is intended to bring the Bella Coola Valley Zoning Bylaw 71 into compliance with Bill 44 by permitting secondary suites within the R-1 (Large Holding District), R-2 (Small Holding District), R-3 (Urban Residential District) and R-4 (Two Family Residential District) Zones.
TAKE NOTICE that the Board is prohibited from holding a Public Hearing for this Bylaw under Section 464 (4) of the Local Government Act and Bill 44, Housing Statutes (Residential Development) Amendment Act in order to comply with Bill 44. This Public Notice that a Public Hearing is prohibited is required prior to the first reading of Zoning Bylaw 533, 2024
A copy of the proposed Zoning Bylaw 533, 2024 will be made available for viewing at https://www.ccrd.ca/about/notices or at the Central Coast Regional District Office at 626 Cliff St. Bella Coola BC V0T1C0 Tuesday to Friday on or before May 23 to June 6, 2024 from 8:30 am until 5:00 pm.
